Biography

I am retired from teaching first grade for 28 years. During the first 24 years, I was a first grade classroom teacher. During the last four years, I was a reading specialist working with first graders one-on-one who needed intervention in order to be ready for second grade reading. I have been married to Larry Fizer (HHS Class of 1964) since 1968. We have one son, Scott, who graduated from Texas A&M and is now living in Austin.
