| After high school and college, I lived in Houston before moving to Dallas for 13 years. Almost two years ago, I moved out here to sunny South Florida when I received a job offer that was too good to refuse. I'm the Director of Information Systems at a large private golf club.
Husband #2, Scott, and I are about 1 year away from taking off on our sailboat to cruise around the world - at least that's the plan. I met him around 9 years ago when I started racing sailboats. He decided I needed to make an honest man of him, so we were married when we moved here. We also enjoy scuba diving, kayaking and saltwater fishing. We have been living aboard our boat "Quest" for five years. It's a great lifestyle, but you have to think small and drink a lot of rum.
I have managed to stay "child-free" all these years, thank goodness! We do have a little parrot named Seaweed. Makes a great boat pet.
