Although I did leave HHS before my senior year, my roots (such as I have) will always be at Highlands (mostly in the Band Hall). I spent eight years in the Air Force, followed by another eight years overseas working as a civilian. I moved to Alaska in 1984, and have chosen to raise my family here. I am a federal employee, and my wife and I also have a web-based business that we run from home. We have three children -- a daughter, 23, and two sons, 20 and 17, who "hoot" (pun intended)loudly when they look at the clothes and hairstyles in the '64 and '65 Brigadoons I still have. I'd love to hear from old classmates, particularly veterans of the Owl Band. I'm organizing a Band Reunion to be held in October 2001 in conjunction with the 35-year reunion of the Class of '66. Please let me hear from you if you'd be interested in either attending or helping plan and organize one or both of those reunions! |
